The pair of side accent chairs, commissioned in the early 20th century, used to grace the music room area of the mansion of Don Gregorio Araneta on 1011 R Hidalgo Street, Quiapo, Manila, a genteel and patrician district of the old Manila.

Mr Jose Ma Ricardo A Panlilio received the pair of Side Accent Chairs from Mr Ramon Araneta Albert, former neighbors on Cordillera Street, Quezon City.  The chairs were eventually donated to the Museo De La Salle.
